Dan is a wizard when it comes to personalizing a plan to different body types. He’s awesome to work with and very knowledgeable with what he does. Highly Recommend him with all your fitness needs!

Dan's past struggled with his health have molded him into a real fighter that takes pride in beating the odds. Since I started training with him, my endurance has gone through the roof and I already feel like a new man. He's been able to customize a routine that I can do at home without having to try to get the gym with my hectic schedule. All while halfway across the country from my trainer. It's really been a wonderful experience and I'd recommend WEvolve to anyone!

I met Dan couple months ago for a consultation. He took the time to get to know me and what my goals were. He is very straight forward and supportive. Very attentive to make sure injuries do not happen. Happy I made the decision to move forward. Check out his story and you will understand his passion for health.

WEvolve Training Philosophy & The OPT Model

The NASM Certified Personal Trainer Certification and Specializations are developed with NASM's exclusive Optimum Performance Training (OPT™) model, one of the industry's first comprehensive training system based on scientific, evidence-based research. It takes the guesswork out of program design and helps produce consistent and remarkable results for clients.

The OPT model was developed to concurrently improve all functional abilities, including flexibility, core stabilization, balance, strength, power, and cardiorespiratory endurance.

Have you or someone you've known ever gone to a personal trainer, only to come away injured or feeling like the program wasn’t tailored to you as an individual?

Of course a good training session should leave you "good sore" and feeling like you've pushed yourself. After all, if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you. However, did you know that roughly 90% of the population suffers from joint issues? Sitting too long, repetitive motion, stress, and improper exercise form are just some of the reasons why a majority of people have something wrong with joint movement or muscle soreness. While many trainers may find out your goals and immediately throw you into a routine, at WEvolve every program comes with a free fitness assessment. Besides learning about your goals and pertinent medical history, I do an assessment to look for any issues with joint motion or muscle imbalances. This may indicate muscles which are too tight or too weak, and while working towards your goal, incorporate a plan to fix those issues through corrective exercise so as not to cause injury.

Injury prevention, and corrective exercise at the beginning of a new fitness program, is one of the most important, yet overlooked, pieces to a successful routine. As an experienced trainer I still incorporate it into my own routines. At WEvolve you aren't given a program that’s “one size fits all." Your program is based on progression with a detail to injury prevention, because you can't achieve your goals if you're stuck on the sidelines.
